Prayer

Philippians 4:6 (ESV), "6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God."

The Scriptures make clear that we are both commanded to pray for all things and we are to express our dependence on God through prayer. Just a sampling of these are: Psalm 17:6 (ESV), “I call upon you, for you will answer me, O God; incline your ear to me; hear my words.” Psalm 102:17 (ESV), “He regards the prayer of the destitute and does not despise their prayer.” Ephesians 6:18 (ESV), “Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.

We strongly believe in the power and importance of prayer and a praying life. We meet Wednesday nights at 6pm for study and prayer each week, along with an emphasizing daily personal prayers. We believe nothing we attempt as a church will truly be blessed by God unless He grants it, so we pray accordingly. Therefore prayer is a vital component of our church family.
