The WIC “Hymns of Grace” Drive is coming to a close and we have sold 81 hymnals.  If anyone has any order forms that they are wanting to submit, please turn them in to the church office as soon as possible.  The hymnals are $20 each which covers the cost plus tax and shipping.  Order forms are in vestibule and office.

The WIC is going to change the way we have approached the flowers in the church.  Beverly Hood brought to our attention the cost of a flower arrangement and asked that we look at the current policy.  In August, we will be handing out to WIC members sign up sheets for the new year.  You will be able to choose a date you would like to put flowers in the sanctuary, but we will not assign a day to everyone as we have done in the past.

Also, we would like to make twelve new arrangements that can be placed in the church if that day is not taken.  If you have any silk flowers or vases that you would like to donate, please bring them to the fellowship hall and Ms. Tommie will create the new arrangements.

 Several have mentioned that instead of buying arrangements they had donated money to the Benevolence Fund.  We want to encourage you to continue these donations.  This fund is designed to help those in our community, and we do not want to hurt its support.

fpcshistory@yahoo.com .  Please include the date the picture was taken and the event. We would like to include them in our church history.
