The Bible encourages us in Proverbs 22:6 (ESV), “⁶Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” To this aim here at First Presbyterian we are committed to coming alongside parents in the spiritual education and care of their children and youth. We seek to do this through various means: Sunday School, Wednesday Night Youth, Vacation Bible School, Camps, Retreats, and Conferences.

      Our hope is that, as Proverbs declares, they will follow the paths laid out for them throughout their lives. Thereby becoming the godly men and women who influence and change their world for the sake and call of the Gospel.
