Jesus’ last command Matthew 28:18-20 (ESV), must be the Church’s first priority, so we place great emphasis on doing what we can to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to our community, country and the world. Locally we encourage and provide training for our people to live out and explain how anyone can be right with God. One tool we use for this focus is Evangelism Explosion training workshops.

       We are also involved in supporting others who are engaged in gospel outreach efforts in other parts of the country as well as in other nations. We maintain personal contacts with these missionaries, and provide them financial and prayer support. Our church’s involvement in helping fulfill “The Great Commission” is emphasized during an annual Missions Sunday.

       Local ministry is done at Mercy House Ministry in Georgetown, Copiah County jail, and various community outreach events.
